Ardbeg Uigeadail

If you like a smoky but still slightly sherried  whisky you will absolutely love Ardbeg Uigeadail. It is named after Loch Uigeadail, a lake near the distillery where they get some of their water. It was the first high proof whisky released after the reopening of the distillery and is created of a mixture of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.

Claxton’s Caol Ila 6 years old

Claxton’s is a relatively new independent bottler from North Yorkshire, England. Like all the indepentend bottlers, they take casks from different distilleries and mature them they way they think best or, in case of this whisky, put it in a different cask. This whisky is a 6 year old Caol Ila single cask release that was put in first fill Pedro Ximenez casks and they let it age for about 6-8 months in those casks.
